The Hunger Games (series - 3 books) Divergent (series - 3 books) Percy Jackson (series - 5 books) Heroes of Olympus (series - comes after Percy Jackson - 5 books)
1) I am Malala. (This is quite a heavy read but it is a great book!) 2) The Exact Opposite of Okay. (A hilarious book about feminism and pointing out all the wrongs in the world.) 3) To Kill A Mockingbird (A really great book about racism written in the 1960s. It shows how black people were treated and it is really quite moving.)
We learnt about Malala last year but I still haven't read it. Fia, do you know who "The exact opposite of okay", and "How to kill a mockingbird" are by?
Individual Books: - One for the Murphys - Lynda Mullaly Hunt - Out of my mind - Sharon M Draper - The secret cooking club - Laurel Remington - Mockingbird - Kathryn Erskine - Fish in a tree - Lynda Mullaly Hunt
1. Cherub is a good series and fun to read 2. The Hunger Games is the best and the most amazing books ever 3. Harry potter is also tying with The Hunger games but Harry Potter is better. 4. Divergent is pretty good as well
I have some book recommendations that I would like to make; The first two are books recommended by Zenith, but I would still to back him up by stating that the following are incredibly good and thrilling books, both filled with humour and have great plots: 1) Monster 2) The Trials of Apollo series Now, these are some of my personal book recommendations: 3) Magnus Chase (A thrilling book series based around The Gods of Asgard and Magnus and his friends connection to them and their misfortunes) 4) A series of Unfortunate events ( A long but exciting and tragic series about the 3 Baudelaire orphans who hit misfortune and every step in their almighty adventure. There are currently 13 books available, so it is long. Note: If you are going to consider this series, DON'T watch the Netflix series. Though it only goes up to the 9th book, it still will spoil most of the story.)
I would recommend 'The Mortal Instruments' series. Here are the books in order City of Bones. City of Ashes. City of Glass. City of Fallen Angels. City of Lost Souls. City of Heavenly Fire.
I totally agree with you! They are great books. There is also a prequel series called the Infernal Devices and a follow up series called the Dark Artifices. If you are enjoying the Maximum Ride book then you will enjoy this ones because they are very similar.
I would really recommend Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson. I had to read it a few years ago for battle of the books, and it is now one of my favourite things to read!
